How did we get here?
After many years of doing full service design work, we wanted to make the whole “designing your home” thing more transparent and available to more people. In 2005 we started offering our uniquely created “Good Space Interior Design Plans”. We provided an affordable, easy-to-use platform along with an easy-to-follow, straight forward process to take the mystery – and expense – out of collaborating with a professional interior design firm.
Originally, Good Space Plans were an addition to our existing brick and mortar interior design business, and only available to our Vancouver clients. Due to their popularity and growing demand, we took the initiative to go online in 2014, giving us the opportunity to offer our “design done differently” solutions everywhere.
As always, our commitment is to ensure our clients understand the interior design process and the product they are paying for; with an approach that is always client focused. Our clients feel heard, understood, respected, and as a result find it easy to engage with their Good Space Plan Online experience.

Good Space Plans Online is a proud mother-daughter run company.
We built Good Space Plans Online knowing that technology can’t replace the human touch. This led to the creation of our highly detailed, hands-on process, allowing us to seamlessly merge what we have traditionally done in-person with the convenience and reach of an online platform.
The intent of good design is to make things better, more functional and ideally more beautiful. We love working together and are passionate about creating nurturing living spaces.
What we support
Covenant House (Vancouver) provides love and hope through their Continuum of Care to street youth who have fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse.

We hired Goodspace to help us design and furnish our new condo. The process was very easy and convenient. Everything was done remotely.
We first had to hire a company to get our unit professional mapped out and measured. After sending those measurements to Good Space, they quickly turned it around and set up meetings with us to discover our desires and tastes. After a couple weeks we were walked through the initial design plan for feedback. After a couple more rounds of this, we agreed on a final design and they gave us a list of everything we needed to get on our own with prices and source for where to purchase. Good Space was able to work within our budget to make our place look and feel the best possible.

Good Space Design Group has provided a detailed interior design plan that could be followed and executed by us on our own time. We
decided on this route because we didn’t have the time and budget to complete a total interior design plan all at once. That being said, we still wanted a complete and cohesive concept so in the end each room would work with the next whether they were completed this year or next. The design process was fun and they really made it comfortable to communicate any changes or dislikes we had with ideas or items.

After doing a lot of research on the internet and also by calling several interior design professionals we decided to have our apartment redesigned by Good Space Online. This turned out to be an excellent choice. All through the process Dwaina and Molly have been very responsive and listened well to our thoughts and ideas. They came up with a plan which reflects what we asked for and more. They added details which seem to be tiny, but in the whole picture these details just make the apartment special. The design plan comes with a list of all the used materials and their prices which makes purchasing items very easy.
After the design had been completed we had a number of questions regarding the furniture, renovations etc. Every question has been answered quickly and satisfactory. Overall we are more than pleased with the design plan and assistance from Dwaina and Molly. We definitely recommend Good Space Online.
